Currently a Senior Lecturer in Business and Strategy at De Montfort University, Meera has established a reputation for creating engaging learning experiences, leading academic programmes and mentoring both students and colleagues. Her commitment to educational excellence has been recognised through the Student Choice Award 2025 and the Excellence in Teaching & Learning Award 2025.
Meera's educational journey reflects the transformative power of purposeful teaching and mentorship. As a first-generation postgraduate student, she experienced the profound impact that an inspiring educator can have on confidence, aspiration and achievement. That experience continues to shape her commitment to developing educators who not only deliver knowledge but also cultivate curiosity, confidence and lifelong learning.
With more than seven years of experience in UK higher education, Meera holds a postgraduate qualification in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education from the University of Birmingham and is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA). She serves as a programme leader, module leader, external examiner and mentor, supporting academic quality, curriculum enhancement and professional development across multiple institutions.
At MORIM, Meera serves as Strategic Partner for Academic Excellence and Leadership Development, supporting institutions in strengthening teaching quality, enhancing academic standards and developing educators and leaders capable of driving meaningful institutional improvement. Wolfgang Galvis is an international business development and partnership specialist with extensive experience in entrepreneurship, leadership development and cross-sector collaboration. He is passionate about creating strategic partnerships that expand access to education, strengthen institutions and generate sustainable social and economic impact.
With an international background spanning Europe and Latin America, Wolfgang has worked with educational institutions, businesses, non-profit organisations and public sector stakeholders to develop innovative programmes, foster collaboration and support organisational growth. His expertise lies in connecting people, institutions and opportunities to deliver meaningful and lasting change.
Before joining MORIM, Wolfgang served as Country Director for Switzerland at the Global Youth Leadership for Sustainable Communities (GYLSCO), where he helped strengthen international partnerships and supported initiatives focused on sustainability, leadership development and youth empowerment. He also worked as an Entrepreneurship and Management Consultant, advising organisations on business development, strategic planning and organisational performance.
Wolfgang holds an MSc in Enterprise Management from the University of Birmingham, complementing his practical experience in entrepreneurship, international business and organisational development with a strong academic foundation.
At MORIM, Wolfgang serves as Head of Global Development, leading the organisation's international growth strategy and cultivating partnerships that extend MORIM's impact across Africa and beyond. Regional Lead – Africa | Institutional Partnerships & Strategic Engagement
Mariam Dembele is the Regional Lead for Africa at MORIM, where she leads strategic engagement, partnership development and regional operations across the continent. She plays a key role in expanding MORIM's presence in Africa, building trusted relationships with governments, institutions and strategic partners, and supporting the delivery of initiatives that strengthen education and human capital development.
With extensive experience spanning government affairs, international cooperation, strategic consulting and project management, Mariam brings a unique ability to navigate complex institutional environments and translate strategic ambitions into effective action.
Prior to joining MORIM, Mariam served as Chief of Staff at the Ministry of African Integration and Foreign Affairs of Senegal, where she provided strategic support to senior government leadership and contributed to the coordination of major diplomatic and institutional initiatives. Her responsibilities included managing strategic priorities, coordinating bilateral cooperation frameworks, preparing high-level briefings and supporting international engagements involving organisations such as the African Union and the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS).
Through this experience, Mariam developed deep expertise in government relations, multilateral cooperation, stakeholder management and the coordination of complex initiatives involving public institutions and international partners.
Beyond her public sector experience, Mariam has built strong capabilities in business development, partnership creation and programme implementation. She has supported organisations in identifying strategic opportunities, strengthening operational performance and delivering projects that create measurable impact.

Throughout his career, Josef has successfully structured more than €150 million in project finance, led multiple international expansion initiatives and advised organisations on scaling their operations across diverse markets. Dr Hermann Hokou is a scholar, academic leader and senior practitioner specialising in international law, governance, democracy, human rights and institutional development. With more than a decade of experience leading strategic projects, research initiatives and institutional engagements, he brings deep expertise in governance systems, public institutions and contemporary African realities.
He holds a Ph.D. in International Law and has worked extensively with academic institutions, civil society organisations, think tanks and public stakeholders on issues related to the rule of law, democratic governance, institutional resilience and leadership development.
An experienced educator, Dr Hokou brings nearly two decades of university-level teaching experience, with a strong commitment to developing students, mentoring emerging leaders and contributing to the advancement of academic excellence, particularly in Côte d’Ivoire.

Anne-Flore Cuccolo embodies the quiet strength of education lived as service. With over 20 years of experience across formal and informal youth education, she stands at the confluence of teaching, mentorship, faith engagement, and global development—where education is not a system to be managed, but a life to be stewarded.
Trained in Social Sciences (Youth Education) at the University of Gloucestershire, Anne-Flore’s vocation was shaped not only in classrooms, but alongside young people themselves. As a school teacher and youth worker in the UK, she has spent two decades mentoring, coordinating youth initiatives, and delivering education that honours dignity, presence, and growth—particularly among those navigating vulnerability and transition.
Her journey extended naturally into ministry and international partnership work. As Ministry Relations Representative (Europe and Middle East) for World Changers Church International, Anne-Flore cultivated trusted relationships across regions, supporting churches and ministry partners in alignment, collaboration, and shared mission. This role refined her ability to hold complexity with grace—bridging institutions, cultures, and values without losing sight of people. Alongside this, her work with organisations such as Youth for Christ and Changemakers International deepened her commitment to youth development rooted in integrity, accompaniment, and hope.
Today, Anne-Flore also serves as Global Programme Manager (Outreach) at GYLSCO, where she leads strategic engagement with impact-investment firms and faith-based organisations to support youth-led sustainability initiatives in cocoa-producing communities. Operating at the intersection of values-driven leadership, social impact, and global development, she helps mobilise partnerships that align long-term impact with shared ethical commitments.
At MORIM, Anne-Flore serves as Head of the MORIM Foundation, carrying responsibility not only for operations and partnerships, but for the spirit in which the Foundation engages the world. She is a steward of relationships, and an advocate for education as a catalyst for transformation rather than extraction.
