Our name, MORIM (מורים), is the Hebrew word for "Teachers." It reflects our commitment to the sacred role of the educator as a guide.
ORIGIN
OUR STORY

The MORIM Story: From a Classroom in the UK to a Movement
MORIM was founded by Affi Agbodo, a multi-award-winning educator and strategist whose unconventional journey revealed a universal truth.
The Insight: While serving as a school governor in the UK—responsible for child protection ("safeguarding") in a well-resourced system—Affi encountered the same deep parental fears he knew from growing up in Côte d'Ivoire: safety, belonging, well-being, and real preparedness for life. He realised that educational excellence isn't defined by infrastructure, but by the quality of human connection in the classroom.
The Experiment: With no formal training in pedagogy, Affi entered a British university classroom armed only with a Sincere Heart and True Presence—values inherited from his own teachers in Africa. As a result, he won the highest teaching awards, was promoted to lead pedagogy as a Senior Curriculum Lead, and proved a powerful hypothesis: The most sophisticated educational tool is the humanity of the educator.
The Movement: MORIM was born to scale this insight. It is not a Western import, but a philosophy forged at the crossroads of African relational wisdom and global best practice. We are a team of educators, leaders, and inspectors united by a single goal: to make the "Heart and Presence" pedagogy the standard for quality education everywhere.
The most powerful classroom technology ever created is the human heart in a state of sincere presence.

OUR WHY
The problem we exist to solve: The Gap Between School Promise and Lived Experience
Schools promise two things: a Safe Haven (The Confidence Basin) and a Path to Success (The Success Project). But too often, this promise fractures under daily pressures.
For Parents, this means anxiety. Is my child truly safe? Seen? Challenged? Or just being processed?
For Teachers, this means exhaustion. They enter with vocation but face systems that grind down their passion, leaving them managing crowds instead of mentoring souls.
For School Leaders, this means instability. Teacher turnover, parental dissatisfaction, and the constant chase for results that often sacrifices well-being.
MORIM exists to close this gap. We provide the missing framework that aligns a school's promise with its daily reality. We don't add another program to the pile. We transform the school's core operating system: its human relationships.
We are the architects of educational ecosystems where promise and practice are one.

A world where every classroom, in every school, is led by a teacher who is both deeply competent and profoundly human.
OUR VISION
OUR MISSION

Our Mission: To Democratise Educational Excellence
At MORIM, we believe that quality education should not be a privilege reserved for the few, but a fundamental right for every child. Our mission is to rebuild education from the inside out by empowering the heart of the system: the teacher. We exist to:
-
Transform teaching from a job into a vocation of presence and impact.
-
Equip schools with the tools to become ecosystems of trust and achievement.
-
Guarantee parents that their child is seen, safe, and stimulated.
Our name, MORIM (מורים), is the Hebrew word for "Teachers." It reflects our commitment to the sacred, age-old role of the educator as a guide—one who instructs with heart, points the way toward wisdom, and builds ethical futures.
We work where it matters most: in classrooms under trees and in digital hubs, because excellence is not about resources, but about relationships.
